PRP / Vampire Facial

Hair and skin rejuvenation.

Why PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma otherwise known as PRP is a powerful anti-ageing and hair loss treatment that uses your body's own natural healing process to encourage tissue growth and collagen production.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy works by extracting your own blood which is then spun around in a centrifuge to separate the blood cells, serum and platelets.

The platelet-rich plasma is then re-injected back into targeted areas (face or scalp).

The platelets contain natural proteins and growth factors that stimulate cells to promote tissue growth and produce collagen. Once PRP enters the skin, it stimulates surrounding cells to start the healing cascade. This in turn encourages tissue growth and the production of collagen, aiding rejuvenation and adding volume to the skin.

The procedure can be used to treat:

  • Hair loss

  • Skin injuries

  • Burns

  • Dark circles under the eyes

  • Fine lines

  • Wrinkles

  • Volume loss

The treatment can improve skin texture and tone, reduce fine lines and scarring, and stimulate collagen and skin cell production for a plumper, more radiant complexion.  We also provide PRP treatments with micro needling for the face (vampire facial). The facial stimulates the process of healing and rejuvenation to improve a person’s overall complexion.

PRP is now gaining recognition following its use by high-profile sports stars and celebrities - in treatments that range from skin rejuvenation to sports injuries.

Vampire Facial

vampire facial is a microneedling treatment combined with the addition of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for enhanced rejuvenation benefits.

A Vampire facial is performed by drawing blood from your body and extracting the PRP from the blood to then re-inject back into your face. The platelets in your blood are congested with plasma rich protein and growth factors to stimulate collagen production, tissue healing and achieve rejuvenation.

Microneedling uses short, fine needles to puncture the skin. The pricks are used to “injure” the skin, prompting your skin to heal itself by producing elastin and collagen. This allows the PRP to penetrate deeper.

Vampire Facial Procedure

1) Blood is withdrawn from the arm.

2) Your blood is then placed in a centrifuge to extract the plasma.

3) The face is cleansed and topical numbing cream is applied to the face to prevent discomfort that may be caused by the micro-needling.

4) Microneedling is performed to ensure maximum absorption of the PRP.

5) PRP concentration is injected and massaged gently into the skin.

6) The procedure is finished with LED therapy to soothe the skin.

Benefits include boosting the turnover of skin cells, improved skin tone and texture, reduced fine lines and wrinkles, tighter, firmer skin.

This treatment can be especially helpful for those who suffered from acne and have visible acne scars or skin damage from prolonged exposure to the sun.

Why Mesotherapy?

Hair mesotherapy is a treatment applied by injecting the vitamins, minerals and amino acid mixtures required for the hair into the scalp, along with hyaluronic acid to boost overall results.

Combined mesotherapy with PRP treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin proteins, improving blood circulation and encouraging new cell growth.

The compounds used in mesotherapy treatment nourish the scalp and boost hair thickness and growth to help prevent future hair loss.

Mesotherapy treats the scalp and the existing hair on the head to stop further hair loss.

Both therapies are much safer and less expensive than hair transplant surgery, however, PRP is very often used right after hair transplantation surgery to speed up a healing process.

Think of PRP, as a method to encourage new hair growth and mesotherapy as a way to maintain the results by preventing any further hair loss.
